Welcome to Stack & Scale — a blog about the stuff I actually work with day to day: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Database, and applied AI. This blog is the companion to my YouTube channel, @StackScaleDev, where I cover the same three areas in video form. Some posts here will have a matching video, some won’t — this is meant to stand on its own as a place for the deeper, more reference-style write-ups that don’t always fit neatly into a video format.

What to expect

Posts here are organized around three pillars:

• Cloud — hands-on OCI work: provisioning, networking, security, deployment patterns, and the occasional “here’s what actually broke and how I fixed it.”
• Database — Oracle Database topics: performance tuning, Autonomous Database, backup/recovery, and practical DBA-adjacent work.
• AI — applied AI/ML experiments, tooling, and how AI intersects with cloud and database work.

Why I’m writing this

This blog documents my own hands-on learning with OCI, Oracle Database, and AI — built, tested, and occasionally broken on my own time, then written down before it gets lost to scattered notes.

Some posts are entry points for beginners, others are deeper notes for practitioners. Either way, it’s documentation first — written the way I’d want to find it myself.
